Pixmora uses browser APIs to decode, resize and encode your selected images on your device. The workflow is designed to keep image processing local.
2. Set your goal
Use Smart Compression for a quality-focused result, or Exact File Size when you need to aim for a particular KB or MB limit.
3. Process locally
Pixmora draws the image into a browser canvas and creates a compressed output using the selected format and settings. No Pixmora server is required for this workflow.
4. Compare and download
The result shows the original size, generated size, dimensions and savings. Download only the files you want to keep.
Why results can vary
Compression is not a single universal number. Photos, screenshots, illustrations and already-compressed images can produce very different results. Browser encoders can also vary slightly between devices.
