What does cropping do?
Cropping removes part of an image outside the selected rectangle. It is useful when the subject occupies only part of a photo or when a destination requires a particular shape or framing.
How to choose crop dimensions
Use the dimensions required by your destination when one is specified. For a square result, use the same width and height. The current Pixmora quick crop centers the crop on the source image.
Crop vs. resize
Cropping changes what part of the image remains. Resizing changes the number of pixels in the resulting image. You can crop first and then resize if you need both framing and a specific output dimension.

- Removing distracting edges from a photo.
- Preparing an image for a fixed-size upload field.
Important note
Cropping is destructive to the generated copy: pixels outside the crop are not included in that downloaded output. Keep your original file if you may need the uncropped image later.
