Free image tools for common tasks

Compress images to a specific file size
If a form or application gives you a maximum size, use Compress Image to KB. Popular targets include 20KB, 50KB, 100KB, 200KB and 500KB. A target is an aim rather than a universal byte-for-byte guarantee because image encoding depends on the source.
JPG, PNG or WebP?
JPG is commonly useful for photographs, PNG is useful when lossless output or transparency matters, and WebP can be useful for efficient modern web delivery. Use Image Converter when the destination requires a different format.
Privacy and browser processing
